Accelerated Reader Information
Students should be reading at home and taking AR tests at school to meet the reading goals for each grading period.

Each nine-week period, your child has a reading goal set by the teachers for points and percentages. The points required will change every grading period.  Each book carries a point value which is awarded to the student when passing a test on that book.  Students must maintain an 85% correct average for tests taken.  When the student achieves the required point and percentage, he/she will be allowed to attend the Principal's Party at the end of that nine-weeks' grading period. This goal is easy to meet with just a little effort and should be met by each student. Please encourage your child to read at home.  Thanks for your help!
